On this board you can post all your little gems about the meanings of some of the names from the redwall books. to kick you off, heres some i know:
Ferahgo: means "mixed", referring to his knives.
Martin: Derivative of Mars, Roman god of war. As with Mariel etc. probably.

Do a google for the Redwall Encyclopedia. Someone nicked it 8-9 years ago.
