Thestrals

Anyone else think that the thestrals in harry potter sound so ???? cool? I mean they're black horses with bat-like wings. Getting to my point, i was doing a art trade with someone and i asked them to draw one. And heres what she drawed, which turned out cool. *sorry for the spamness*

WOW! :eek: That was a really good picture! Some people can draw so well. I wonder how the movie's will interpret these intriguing creatures? And I wonder how close they will be to that drawing. I look forward (in about 3 years) to see if they are similar.

Hmmm. . .It's a good drawing. The book says it has a dragonish face, and the picture looks kinda horsey. I don't think they have the hook on the end of the wing, though. But is a very good drawing. That's more or less how I imagine them.

and the "Thestral" is kinda anorexic looking... just my opinion

I agree. The second picture resembles the thestrals more the way I had imagined them.

No i prefured the 1st one,it had a sort of.........atmosphre aboiut it,evan if it did sort of resemble a stick insect
