What does it stand for. Used in context, I've heard it like this "Murder isn't part of his MO." What does it stand for?

It stands for Modus Operandi, which is latin for mode of operating.

Also, the speaker in your example seems to be a little confused. Nobody owns Missouri. Except the United States government. And for a time, the French explorer Robert Cavalier.

I meant what is it an acronym for. I've heard that in a movie before, and wanted to know what they meant.
