One of the greatest late night hosts died today, he was 79. I'm sure going to miss him, he had some great sketches. :( Here's more information about it.

That really is sad news. Carson was the king of Late Night-- nobody else even comes close.

It shouldn't be too incredibly difficult to find out who he is, boy who is associated with a blankey. Try Yahoo! News's Entertainment section.

I saw the tribute to J. C. on the Today Show (or Good Morning America, I can't remember which). I wasn't ever able to see him on the tonight show, but from the clips shown in the tribute, no other late night host comes close.

He hosted The Tonight Show for 30 years before Leno.

Late Night has been without class since his departure. :(

He'll be missed.

Yeah. My grandma has this video of the best of him; it shows a guy he invited playing Yankee Doodle by blowing on different places on his hand.
