I was walking to chapel today at school(with 3-inch heeled boots mind you) and my heel caught on the step and I fell and broke my leg. I'm in paaaaaain >< I go to a bone specialist tomorrow and probably get a real cast...i have one of those velcro ones on now. Have any of you broken anything before? This is my first. It's really painful. Its a slight break but it's there...I hope it heals soooooon :(

*wince* That sounds rather painful. Hope you're not off your feet for too long. I've been lucky enough not to break anything so far in my life so I really can't relate, but... ouch.

Ouch... When I was about three, I was running along the sidewalk in my backyard, trying to find my tricycle, and I fell and broke my finger... But I've never broken anything large before. Hope you feel better soon!

Ouch... *winces* I personally never had any broken bones before..... Probably the worst were wrists that were worn out from playing badminton that hurt whenever I moved them and such. And a bruise in the most inconvinient place... Also from badminton.

I'm so sorry to hear about your leg, Lady Terra. :( I (luckily) have never broken a bone, but I can imagine how awful it must be. I hope it mends quickly. :)

I haven't broken anything...Yet. But sometimes I come close.
Nearly crashing on a bike or ATV, running into stuff, getting hit with stuff, tripping over stuff, having a cat dropped on your head. I've got scars too! Where the cat scratched me, and where other things scratched me. And you know those marks on your fingernail, when you whack it on something and it leaves a little white mark on the nail. I got those too.
I'm waiting for the day I get an anvil dropped on me:rolleyes:

Sorry to hear that, Terra. Hope you feel better and that you don't itch too much while you've got a cast on.

Well I havent gotten a real cast yet Caleyin but if you have some white out you can sign my black one? lol. The pain has eased up temendously since I got the cast and doesnt hurt unless I put a whole lot of weight on it. I cant sleep very well because of worry and I'm very uncomfortable in this cast and the way I have to sleep. I gotta go back to school tomorrow which I'm dreading ALOT. My arms are very sore from the crutches and my left leg hurts after putting all that weight on it for long periods of time. My mom is so exausted, bless her heart, after takin care of me so much. I feel like a helpless child lol. Thanks alot everyone ^^

Yeah, somebody on my bus sprained his ankle.... And when I came to a door and he was about to come out on his crutches, I stupidly backed away, forgetting that he couldn't open the door. :o Well, he did have another guy with him, so he could have opened the door for him....

i hate inconvenient places..such as my leg And while a finger, hand, or arm, would be extremely inconvineint for me, as I play the violin, and I have auditions, concerts, etc, everywhere you look... >.< Well, if I hadn't said this before, I hope your leg heals quickly.

Suprisingly enough for me I've never broke anything before, but I have managed to severely sprain one of my legs many times. One time in Tap dancing class many years ago right in the middle of a dance, I succeeded in spraining my finger to the point that it throbbed with pain even when I held it still. I didn't tell anyone and kept on going, but then a part in the dance came when we all gathered in a circle and had to join hands. Needless to say...Ouch! :)

Anyway I wish you well Lady Terra and hope you heal soon.
