May I just ask why we/u are discussing HP on a REDWALL site?

But it would b interesting- Harry Potter and the Abbey of Redwall....

Don't mind me.

Why are you discussing our discussion of HP on a REDWALL site?

Because I am a self-confessed busy-body and I enjoy sticking my snout into other people's business.
But hey, I'm not complaining, I'm just wondering why there isn't a sub-catergory for his dark materials trilogy here.

Maybe because the HP fandom is still coming out with books and movies, while the His Dark Materials trilogy is long finished (yes, I know there's a movie and some side-books in the makings, but progress is very slow). Anyway, the HP fandom is bigger and more varied in general.

I love HDM though.

This isn't the Redwall board.

The Redwall board is called "The Bookshelf", which is limited to strictly Redwall discussion.

This is a sub-forum of the General Discussion board, which is open to all topics.

As soon as a new Harry Potter book comes out, the board floods with threads of spoilers, chapter and character discussions, etc., etc., etc. It's much easier for the Scribes if all the Harry Potter threads have their own section. It's also easier for forum-goers to avoid spoiling the book. :)
