I was thinking that if Voldemort is the heir of Salazar Slytherin, then what if Harry was the heir of Godric Gryffindor? Just a random idea that doesn't actually matter.

I was thinking that if Voldemort is the heir of Salazar Slytherin, then what if Harry was the heir of Godric Gryffindor?
My theory is that Harry is descended from Godric Gryffindor. After all, the name of his parent's house was Godric's Hollow. Harry pulled out Gryffindor's sword in CoS, and well, it just seems appropriate.

Though it might. What would be more appropiate than the final battle to decide the fate of the Wizarding World being between a Gryffindor and a Slytherin?
