Lord Voldemort

According too the man who reads the books outloud on tape says that J.K. Rowling has planned to kill of Harry in the seventh book. So now I ask you do you think J.K. Rowling is that twisted that'd she'd do that. Well I voted I hope not. Now what do you think?
EDIT= Whoops I forgot to add the poll! As soon as you guys read this tell me how to add one after forgeting. No more getting on at 5 in the morninning.

I think at the bottom of a new thread it has an "add poll" feature. I vote sure, she is, but I don't think she will.

I hope so, but she's not. Too many young fans being dissapointed.

Twisted? I don't think it's twisted at all. If she doesnt kill Harry, too many fans will ask "what happens to harry next?!?!?!".
I firmly believe Harry will die in the next book, along with many others.

I think he will have to die if he wants to kill Lord Voldemort. Maybe Sirius will somehow tell him what to do, or some other way that will not make sense unless you read the chapter 10 times.:o

He will probably have to die in order to kill Lord Voldemort.

Honestly, I don't think Harry's good enough to take Voldemort down without getting killed in the process. Heck, i think he might not even last long enough to finish the job.

I think Rowling HAD To kill Harry. Or else many fans will reclaim more adventures of the prodigious hero (he'll turn too prodigious even in my opinion of fan if he survive really at all these stuff. It's like in the Lovecraft's books. Too is too ! He must "paid", it's obvious. Nobody can save the Earth without suffering in the operation, even a wizard. :slagar ), then all this will lost his breath, and so either she keep on writing, but it won't be the same, or somebody else won't keep him or her on writing her/himself a suite.
In her head, as she said, the seventh book will be the ultimate. So I think Voldemort would die, or at least be turned into something harmless for a long while ; but I believe Harry must die too. Or exile himself. :p I have some days played with the idea Harry would sacrifice himself to destroy the Dark Lord. Which can help the hypothesis of the suicide. Perhaps Ron or Hermione could die too, and the other then would stay alone, depsairing for her/his lost love... Then mountains would break open, cracks appears into the groud, lava spring out of cracks, and the World finish in an apocalyptic manner, muffle the screams of pain and grief and horror. There the title "Scary Potter" i've read once about the third film could be really applied to the last book, and lovers of greats endings would be content.:D :D :D

Neville will kill Voldemort.
 And, ah, how did you come to this....interesting conclusion?
Of course Harry will die; he's a Horcrux. Voldemort transferred more than the ability to talk to snakes that night...

I forgot Neville... your probably right. Or he will contribute to the death of Voldemort and kill himself in order to weaken Voldemort for revenge or something.

Well, it's in book 5 I believe, that we learn it could've been Neville. I think a great plot twist would be THAT IT IS NEVILLE, and we've been following the completely wrong person around for 7 books.
That is such a dark thing to do. I would do something like that.

That would be a great plot twist, but Dumbledore spent about 99 billion pages explaining why there is no possible way Harry isn't the chosen one. Voldemort marked him as his equal, remember? I don't see how the prophecy can be circumvented.

Well, Dumbledore wasn't always right. He believed that Snape was good and he got killed by him. And it would make a great plot twist.

Sheesh. You people spend so much time on elaborate predictions, it astounds me.
THAT IT IS NEVILLE, and we've been following the completely wrong person around for 7 books.
Well, think about it. Who's going to read Neville Longbottom and the Sorcerer's Stone?

That's part of the twist. We don't know him* very well, do we?
There is going to be a big twist irregardless. Neville will be involved somehow, that's my line of thought.
*Him is Dumbledore. I just like that line from Looney Tunes.

Ah, it would be good to see Neville put up like that. Though I'd have to say that there would be quite a few angry 11 year olds.
Too is too
I think in that context it might be "too much is too much". English is an impossably stupid language that has two "trop"s and lovely things like "to" "too" and "two", two of which have two meanings.

*Tries to resist disputing above statement*
......*Fails*:p My main theory is that Dumbledore told Snape to kill him, don't ask why, because I don't have a rock solid theory. I started a thread on this a couple weeks ago, so check it out to see the different theories. But, in my book (not the physical kind), Dumbledore has been pretty infalliable thus far.

That, I can accept and agree with.

OK
Neville, killing the Dark Lord ? And Harry, too ? And perhaps Neville iwill turn ever more evil than voldemort himself, and proclaim himself king of the world, and slaughtered Hogwarts' survivors, for revenge because they all mocked at him during many years...

OK
(Good response Tesra)
But I don't see Neville coming and killing everybody. It just wouldn't make any sense, and would probably anger even more fans than a dead Harry. It's far more likely that he'll take revenge in some form for the state of his parents. There's no way he'd ever turn to Voldemort's side, look what the death eaters did to his familly.

What would be completely awesome would be if Harry would kill Voldemort, then rise up and be the new leader, like Anakin.

But not before old Voldy reveals that he is in fact Harry's father.

A friend of mine and I have been discussing this for a while, and we have a few theories. I think that it is possible for her to have Harry killed off, and our reason is that maybe... Harry is the last Horcrux.
I don't think it will happen, though. I watched something on PBS about her and she seemed too attached to Harry to kill him. I can't describe how I got this impression, but it seems that she wouldn't kill him. And I really hope she doesn't. The only story that it was cool to kill the main character in was "Hamlet" and that is just because it was in the middle of a huge bloodbath. I would cry if Harry died. Cry more than I did when Dumblydorr died (I bawled, seriously). :(
