Here it is. Your chance to shine, to be able to firmly say "I told you so" when the 7th book is published. Perhaps it's a bit early for a prediction of this magnitude, but honestly, there really isn't going to be much more information coming between now and the grand finale of Rowling's brainchild.
So here we go; do you think Harry James Potter will be deceased by the end of the 7th book? If so, why? Just a hunch, or have you spotted a clue pointing to one or the other?
Talk away.
Personally, I think Harry will survive for two reasons; a) despite what she says, Rowling is a slave to her fans. She wasn't going to make movies, but fans demanded it, and here we are. She didn't want to churn out the HP merchandise, but alas, I see it every day. B) Because of the fan control aspect and her writing style, she won't let the main character die. Also, if Harry dies, it means Voldemort wins, and that wouldn't be a happy ending for the series, nor would it provide enough closure.
I'm calling a survival situation for young Potter.
