So who's heard of them? Harry and the Potters are an, ah, interesting band that plays, you guessed it, all songs relating to Harry Potter. The instrumentals are pretty basic and nothing special, and the singing is borderline American Idol rejects tape but the material is pretty funny. If you like Harry Potter, you'll have fun listening to their stuff.

Also, there is another band called Draco and the Malfoys, which, surprisingly, is pretty good. Once again the instrumentals are nothing spectacular, but the singer is much better and the overall song quality is better. Draco and the Malfoys also write exclusively Harry Potter music, and it's all from Draco's point of view. They haven't made nearly as many tracks as Harry and the Potters, but what they have done is pretty good. Definetely check out 99 Death Eaters, it's a pretty hilarious version of 99 Red Balloons.

But I'm very curious to see if anyone has ever heard of them....

I've heard of Harry and the Potters, but not Draco and the Malfoys until now.

I've heard of Harry and the Potters and actually bothered to listen to their music. It really does suck terribly. I don't think I'll bother with Draco and the Malfoys. However, once I heard this version of the Harry Potter movie theme song done with electric guitar and solos and distortion and stuff. I hate the song (it sounds sort of circus-ish to me) but that rock version makes it sound completely different and awesome.

I've heard of both, because I listen to those HP podcasts sometimes when I want to listen to something. We need a Redwall podcast, by the way.

Eh, cool, another person who listens to podcasts. I happen to know of the exact one you are talking about, but I don't like it. Horrible production quality. Only listened to it once.

I listen to podcasts, but if people have enough trouble coming up with new things to discuss in forums, how successful could a regularly issued Redwall podcast be? It's not like the Harry Potter books where you can speculate what'll happen in the next book using clues from the last one.
