Movies!

Well......simple question, quite a few answers. What types of movies do you like to see? You know? Comedy, Drama, Etc....

I personally like all sorts of Comedy’s and once and awhile a good Action.
I'm very interested in hearing everyone’s opinions.

I am a movie junkie, in case anyone hasn't noticed ;)

Unfortunately because of finals I missed seeing a movie this past week or so (I see at least 1 every week), so I'm currently having withdrawal.

I like some comedy, but I love a good action film/ western. Not much of a Sci Fi fan as I used to be, and I don't like horror at all.

Of the three choices I picked (Comedy, Action, Drama), I'd say I'm most willing to watch comedy, although the recent lack of good comedies has got me thinking twice about that. Action I only voted for because I remembered how fun the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie was, but Action is a distant third on my list normally (unless it's something like Last Action Hero, which I thought was great). And I've found that a couple of my favorite movies were dramas, so I have to put that on there, although dramas also ask me to invest quite a bit of time before it really hooks me, so I'm less likely to watch dramas.

Horror I absolutely will not watch, because "The Ring" American version determined for me that feeling physically paralyzed from seeing frightening things is NOT my idea of a good time. I don't want to risk being "heart attack victim #27".

No, I am not ashamed to say I enjoy those movies. Fingers crossed for Rush Hour 3 this summer!!!

For me it's cartoons and children movies first, then Sci-Fi/fantasy, then action, then comedy.

I am a fan of Silent films like Modern Times ,and Wings (The first ever movie to win a best picture, a silent film about pilots in WWI) Silent films are awesome, especially the ones by Charlie Chaplin.

And today's trivial film info:
#1. Buster Keaton was very popular in silent films, however, his voice wasn't that great for Talkies. As such, he was not a popular actor in talkies.
#2. Charlie chaplin was very successful in both Silent films and Talkies, but was black listed as a communist during the McCarthy era.
