Are you a snooper or not? ;)

I never understood that concept of peeking at birthday/Christmas presents before it was time to open them. I like waiting until the day. It builds up suspense and the level of excitement. That, and I WANT to be surprised.

I never snoop. That being said, I can't hold on to a wrapped present for long periods of time because I'm filled with the over whelimg temptation to open it.

In the days of amazon.com and email confirmation, I often find myself snooping by accident.

I am in agreement with Bladeswift. I never snoop, I like the surprise of not knowing what I'm going to get. Probably the only time I like surprises ;)

In the days of amazon.com and email confirmation, I often find myself snooping by accident.Hear hear. And one year I was told "get onto amazon.com and buy your own gifts."

Doesn't diminish the surprise of opening a package and seeing the present, though. The Mattimeo paperback book just blew me away when I saw it in person for the first time.

I suppose I will be honest... ;) While it's not a regular habit or something I've done recently, I have snooped in the past. :p

I love the surprise but sometimes I just can't help myself!

I prefer surprises... and Mum always get levels for hidding Christmas presents ! ^^ Not that I ever snooped, but sometimes she is wondering about where could be this one or that other one... Maybe she had some squirrels for ancestors

I have and continue to, but not because I want to ruin the surprise of what I'm getting, but because I want to prove my mom is only human. In 17+ years I have never once found the super cache of presents; a couple times I have found one or two odd ones but I know she keeps most of them somewhere, and it burns me up that I can't find it. Someday....

I just get money from everyone. Than we go to the mall and buy exactly what we want.

Sometimes I do, but not often. I used to more often when I was younger.

To whom it may concern,

I am Santa, and I am watching every one including my self. Snoopers beware, for I may give you coal, or worse used charcoal briquettes for those of you who are extremely naughty.

Those who try to catch me while I am setting the presents under the tree beware for you might get your head stuck in the chimney, maybe even a lawsuit will follow ridding you of all your presents, by way of turning them into socks and other clothing, If you like recieving clothing as presents, they will just dissapear out right.

Sincerely,
Chris Cringle (aka. Santa Clause)

P.S. If you have been especially good, you might be eligable to recieve a new Bicycle; or a Car if you're old enough to drive.

I snooped around a lot as a kid, but I pretty much grew out of it. That gift basket last year doesn't count. *ahem* (It was half-wrapped anyway, anyone could have seen what it was...)

Alright, Nora. I'll make an exemption this once, as I am a Forgiving man. However, Please don't let it happen again, or Coal is what you shal recieve.

I think that I probably used to snoop a little bit when I was a kid. I have a distinct memory of finding some Lego sets in my parents' closet once (their fault for choosing such an obvious location), and I remember carefully unwrapping something that was already under the tree once and then re-wrapping it to a fault (it was just a book, how disappointing). Obviously, I haven't done such a thing in >10 years or so. ;) I kind of miss the days when Christmas was such a big deal...

I used to, but not anymore. I never could find any. However, I do still shake the boxes. Usually I get a lot of clothes, which totally suck because they either dont' fit or I hate them. I never get what I want. Last year mom got me nail polish.Unless it's a special occasion (Christmas, Halloween, etc) I rarely paint them. But I guess part of the reason I never get anything I want is because it's all so darn expensive. :p
