I was thinking of making it so that the hares find a halberd's top and decide to use it for a weapon, and that's why Cregga Rose Eyes would know of the halberd, and so she uses it in The Long Patrol. Intereesting?

If you want to know, the word Rhynchok is based off the scientific name for the family of reptiles the tuatara belongs to, and that's basically what Zadder is. I'm thinking of not killing Zadder off, but he gets chased to the western sea and swims into the distance. The end could be when he washes up on the shores of a distant green land, and begins to think tyrannical ideas... Muahahaha... CLIFF-HANGER!

Fenglaz, I skimmed your story. And when you say you have the gift of writing, you are correct. You're not like most fan fiction writers-- you seem to take pride in your work. An excelant story too-- I'm really starting to enjoy reading some of these.

I forgot to comment on the writing. Very similar to Jaques's style, very well written. I was going to say something on longer scenes but rereading it's all just perfect.

I started it when I was just finished with Loamhedge, so I expect it to be. I've always found that vermin from beyond the sea are ridiculously cool (i.e., Gabool the Wild, Raga Bol, Lask Frildur, etc.), at least in my opinion. And I can't resist breaking the no foreign creatures rule. I mean, how else are you going to get a tuatara?

There might be one in Rakkety Tam or High Rhulain, but as neither of those are in the Redwall Encyclopedia, I can't check. I'll use it anyway.
