I'm not sure if I'm the only one, but I'm guessing I'm the only one who sees the letters "R A B" reading down in lines 16-18 and thinks of Rab Streambattle instead of Harry Potter 6. I wouldn't call Streambattle obscure, though.

Okay, here's another weird guess...(with reasoning)

You capitalized the "she" when referring to Vine Spine, as if to emphasize that it's a female character. Is that also the name of a male character, or is either of the single words "Vine" or "Spine"?
