That is extremely old. It is highly unlikely that a Season 4 will be made, the show ended a few years ago. All it's saying is that hypothetically if there were another season, it would follow the chronological order of the books.

Right, I heard from Nelvana that they don't plan on making as season four any time soon but they do plan on making a big screen movie...

...chronological order? First Redwall, then Mattimeo... then back in time to Martin the Warrior because he's the other legendary mouse warrior... it'd make sense to continue that to Mossflower. Seems to be a theme, Matthias was in the first two seasons, why not have Martin for another two seasons? If there was a Season 5 and 6, I bet they'd be "Mariel of Redwall" and "The Bellmaker".

I thought the "movie" was just an abridged version of the first season (6 1/2 hours cut down to about 1 1/2? Boggles my mind).

WOW! I wanted them to do like a 1 1/2 hour feature length or something and i guess they may. Do you know which book? My guess would be Redwall. Also if you found that on the internet, could you post a link to it?

There are two "movies", one physical, one theoretical.

The physical "movie" is a 90-minute abridged version of the first season of the TV series, making the overall story more faithful to the book. It aired on a few PBS stations but is largely video/DVD only. (SRP $19.99)

The theoretical movie has been circulating for years in the pre-lim stage. Initially BJ was writing the screenplay for an adaptation of MTW. Fell through, canceled. Latest story, mentioning Nelvana in connection, surfaced in October 2003 when The Gotham Group out in L.A. said they were having Andrew Marlowe write the screenplay for a big screen adaptation of Redwall. Since that announcement, nothing else has been said. In all likelihood, it is that deal that Nelvana was referring to in their letter to Tiger.

Unless Nelvana gets some major funding from somewhere, I doubt we will get a 4th season. As for the movie, I doubt it will ever happen.
