Voyage of Slaves - I own it

Indeed, I am the proud owner of an advance copy of Voyage of Slaves. My review will be forthcoming, however I am going to completely re-read the first 2 books to prepare for this one. Therefore, it will be a few days. I was just excited so I had to share. The proof itself is paperback, and composed of 356 pages. It says that the actual book should be 384 pages though. I guess we will see.

The riddle I have been trying to solve: The cover art artist!

It is composed of 3 "Books".

Book One: Lord of the Barbary Coast

Book Two: A Dangerous Freedom

Book Three: Istrani Wolves

ARCs are generally within ten pages of the final product, so unless it doesn't have all of the artwork finished (The Angel's Command ARC didn't, for instance) and double-page maps are counted among them, I think we'll see something closer to your 356 than 384.

Glad to hear it. Here's a piece of Koelsch's work people here would be more familiar with. Always preferred it to Howe.

In that case, September (and it's actual release) will roll around before you get to it. You've had Godless for ages. Heck, not only have I finished that (and I started after you), I've read six more books since. Pick up the pace, my lethargic friend.

It's certainly not anything to do with lethargy. However, I have much more time available to me now then I did previously, so it will be a couple days, hopefully less than a week if I can swing it.

I do believe the final page count will be 368 though, which is within ~10 pages of this proof, according to an infobox in it.

Just a brief update, no I haven't finished the book yet, didn't have as much time as planned, and had a few things come up including a near-death experience.

With that said, I will be done no later than next Friday. Seriously. In fact I promise.
