Currently my MP3 is playing nothing, because I'm at the computer and playing music on an MP3 when I could just play it on the computer is a waste of batteries.

But Windows Media Player is currently playing "Dragula" by Rob Zombie.

Well, considering I've got the 1973 Jesus Christ Superstar DVD playing in the background as I type, the next ten songs for me are...

    1.Strange Thing Mystifying
    2.Then We Are Decided
    3.Everything's Alright
    4.This Jesus Must Die
    5.Hosanna
    6.Simon Zealotes
    7.Poor Jerusalem
    8.Pilate's Dream
    9.The Temple
10.Don't Know How to Love Him
Reality cannot be found except in one single source, because of the interconnection of all things with one another.

Put it on random play, and then name the first ten that end up playing.

That's what I did, anyway, and the ten that played were:

    1. The Four Seasons - Vivaldi
    2. Bloodsport - Sneaker Pimps
    3. Knights of Cydonia - Muse
    4. Time - Pink Floyd
    5. White Room - Cream
    6. Airships - VNV Nation
    7. Freya's Theme - Nobuo Uematsu
    8. Loosen Your Hold - South
    9. I am a Rock - Simon and Garfunkel
    10. Celes - Nobuo Uematsu

Usually my Winamp playlist has more songs on it, but currently all that's there is:

The Band's "Up On Cripple Creek" just ended, and I am now listening to Warren Zevon's "Porcelain Monkey," a critical song about Elvis.

He was an accident waiting to happen
    Most accidents happen at home
Maybe he should've gone out more often
Maybe he should've answered the phone

    Hip-shakin' shoutin' in gold lame'
That's how he earned his regal sobriquet
Then he threw it all away
    For a porcelain monkey

He threw it away for a porcelain monkey
Gave it all up for a figurine
He traded it in for a night in Las Vegas
    And his face on velveteen

From a shotgun shack singing Pentecostal hymns
Through the wrought iron gates to the TV room
He had a little world, it was smaller than your hand
It's a rockabilly ride from the glitter to the gloom

Left behind by the latest trends
Eating fried chicken with his regicidal friends
    That's how the story ends
    With a porcelain monkey

Like I said, i got an iPod, and the battery is nearly gone, so I'm listening to it at the comp, when normally I would just have iTunes up. By the way, I really do not think that this battery lasts 14 hours. It's like half of that.

Last 10 Songs I've Listened to

    1. Walking in the Air, by Chloe Agnew~It's the only version of this song I like, though her voice is kinda breathy. But it's better than some boy rolling his r's.

    2. The Great Mouse Detective Theme~I found it on iTunes. It's the opening title one. It's short, but I've been looking for the soundtrack for a really long time.

    3. Miss Independent by Kelly Clarkson~It's the only song of hers I like.

    4. He's a Pirate (Pete n' Red's Jolly Roger Trance Remix) by Klaus Badelt, Redtop & Sneaky Pete. It's the only really good remix of He's a Pirate out of the new released lot.

    5. Endless Journey by a bunch of people. It's from the Riverdance on Broadway soundtrack. The part where the group is singing the rivers is good, but when that guy and girl starts singing I don't like it.

    6. Celtic Kittens from Celtic Tiger, Michael Flatley's new Irish dance production. When you are watching it, I wish that it would just show the violin players, instead of those wierd girls in the skin tight costumes rolling around. It was the wierdest one. But the violin playing is so amazing, and it's my goal to play it on the violin. But first I have to find the sheet music, which I don't even think exists.

    7. Real Gone by Sheryl Crow from the Cars Soundtrack. It's kinda like a rock/country thing, so I cna tolerate the country in it.

    8. All About Us by t.A.T.u.~Some of there songs I really don't like at all, but this one is all right.

    9. The Confrontation from Les Miserables 10th Annivesary~How they sing at once is great, and of course Philip Quast's voice never ceases to amaze me.

    10. Now We Are Free by Hans Zimmer & Lisa Gerrard. No idea what she is saying and the first part is boring, but at 1:55 it gets really cool.

    1. Turn off the backlight fully off. 14 hours is is the battery life of an iPod, not a flashlight.
2.Turn off the EQ. It uses lots of processing power.
3.If you really excessively skip songs, as in listen to all of them for about 5 seconds, the hard drive will keep spinning up and running down and the ram won't be used efficiently. This one doesn't really matter unless you go really crazy.
On vacation for a week or two.

Speak to Me, Pink Floyd. Or at least, that's what should be playing. I need to turn up the volume because I really can't hear it at all. Cool, huh? Ah... now I do. It seems that the first thirty seconds or so are complete silence, and then it magically gets a thousand times louder. This gave me a real fright the first time I listened to it and turned it up really loud so that I could hear the beginning.

That happened to me this mroning. I didn't know how high it was up, and put in the ear buds and nearly gave myself a heart attack.

Thanks Lukesed for the tips. I never even thought about the EQ thing.
