New internet phenomenon, "literal" versions of music videos...and these generally tend to be from the 1980s.

    Very amusing.

I'd recommend Total Eclipse of the Heart (I always think of the Old School version when I hear this song)

This takes place at Star Wars Weekends at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Dancing with the Star Wars Stars 2008

There are also videos from 2007 and 2009 (actually 2 parts from 2009: Part 2), but the 2008 one is my personal favorite.

The Fields of Vietnam, a beautiful song written by the renowned socialist folksinger Ewan MacColl sympathizing with the Vietnamese people in their unending struggles against foreign invaders in the middle of the last century. Regardless of your political leanings, it is a masterfully written song, and I urge everyone to at least take a listen.

Also: my own YouTube channel -- a project to record a new traditional folk song every day. No promises on the quality of the singing, but keep the tradition alive and check it out.

The best part of 2009 is the guy MC getting down to the Spice Girls in the background.

That's a great concept. I'm looking to see if there are any similar videos for cars and video games.

I'm in the video, yes. It was my room, in fact. And my little brother was the Studio Audience.
Any guesses to which one was me?

I assume you were the homeschooler who is going to work at Wal-Mart.

No offense intended, but as a former homeschooler, I really didn't find it that funny. You (or the other girl in the video) seemed to be playing to the stereotypical view of what homeschoolers are. Very few of us actually fit that stereotype and the majority of us try hard to dispel it.

The wall in your room was neat. Did you actually paint all of that by hand (that would take a lot of patience! ) or is it some sort of wallpaper?

I'm a homeschooler myself, actually. And I loathe people like that.

Dad painted it himself. By hand. Because he's amazing.

Didn't watch the entire video myself, but I know people with college degrees who work in retail because the economy continues to worsen daily and the real jobs just aren't there.

    That must have taken awhile!

"Wal-Mart" was used as a descriptive to differentiate between the two girls. I was not insinuating that there was anything wrong with working in retail (with or without a college degree).

I realize that. Heck, I know how hard it is to get a job, since no one will hire me.

Also, working at Walmart is a bit of a an inside joke between me and the other girl.
