Hello, um... lets start role playing??! :P

Hi i'm new im probably about to make a complete fool out of myself, and im really unsure of how to start this. Anyways, uh... let's start? I was told to come here. xP

if I do something wrong, tell me and I'll fix. My char is a gray character weasel corsair captain. I also have 90% of his crew developed. You can join the crew, you can be some stowaway, you can be on another ship to fight me, or anything else you can think of! I don't care how peopple join this Rp

*The waves lapped at the barnacle covered hull of the Midnight Fury, as a bunch of foxes, rats, ferrets, and stoats boarded. They walked from a small dock up to a gangplank, and then onto the deck. An albino stoat stood at the end of the gangplank, asking each beast questions as he boarded.

"Wot's yer name?"

"Skullug"

"Kin ah see yer papers?"

"Dey's 'ere"

"Ah, alright. 'Op aboard."

The conversation would go like that. The beasts kept filing up the gangplank, the albino stoat asking for each of they're papers and names.

*a young silver-furred ferret wearing a tiny piece of bark on a cord around his neck, upon which was carved the name Hitchclaw, sees his chance and climbs into an unattended barrel waiting to be carried aboard*

*he has no papers*

Whitepaw takes the papers of a stoat named Kubber, a ferret named Deddclaw, and a searat named Sourback, before noticing some strange activity in a barrel, he brushed it off as just "some beast doing some work on the barrels"

*Hitchclaw started as he heard a gruff voice shout out*

" 'oy, yew lot. Git dat cargo stowed aboard afore I decides yew kin swim arfter us."

*Hitchclaw held his breath as he heard a pair a voices grumble and then felt the barrels get lifted up. He was almost there.*

A ferret named Dropwirt and his friend Hookbod were grumbling and cursing and muttering as they unwittingly carried Hitchclaw to the cargo hold.

*Hitchclaw dared not move so long as the ship was in port. Remaining very still and trying not to make a sound, he patiently waited for the ship to sail out to sea.*

Dropwirt and Hookbod finished. Whitepaw looked at his papers.

"Hmm.... nobeast left onna list".

He said quietly to himself. He then went to the captain to give him the news.

"Cappin! Cappin! Alla crew's onboard"

Said the stoat, happily. Zemmerug nodded.

"Prepare ta set sail. Ah want's ta be sailin' away from 'ere within da hour!"

He said. Whitepaw nodded, and soon the ship was bustling with activity.

*Hitchclaw stayed hidden in the barrel long after he felt the ship start to sail out to sea. When he'd gauged it to be nearly nightfall, he stuck out his head to look at his surroundings. He appeared to be in a deserted cargo hold. Tentatively, he climbed out of the barrel, in search of vittles. He was hungry.*

In the hold, there was many cobwebs, barrels, crates, and some water about ankle deep. The ship leaked, but not enough to sink it. It was dark, cold, and clammy. It stunk. Nobeast ever went down unless they HAD to.

*Hitchclaw proceeded to pop the tops off the barrels in the cargo hold. The first barrel revealed itself to be empty, no doubt intended to be filled with plunder or cargo from some far off port. The second and third barrel were similarly empty, but the fourth revealed apples inside. Hitchclaw began to stuff his mouth ravenously.*

Zemmerug had his ship sailed north. They were bound for a pirate port far in the north that they were to attack. The port was called Rat's Nest.

*Hitchclaw spent his days pilfering food from the unsuspecting crew and hiding anytime he heard footpaws headed his way. One morning as he heard increased activity overhead, he peeked out the porthole and saw what looked like land in the distance. He was so entranced by the sight that he let his guard down and jumped as somebeast entered the hold.*

Waggy, the quartermaster of the Midnight Fury, stood there dumbfounded looking at Hitchclaw. Who was this beast? This was definately not one of the crew. Perhaps this beast was why the food had been going missing. With one swift action he drew his long jagged rapier and pointed it at the beast (marten, wasn't it?).

"Yew been eatin' our food, ain't ya? Come to wid meh, to da cappin, an' may'aps ah won' 'ave yew slippin' in yer own guts."

Said the ferret. He then pointed to the stairs up to the higher decks. The ferret proceded to step up the stairs about four steps. He hated standing in the hold. The putrid water that sloshed around in the hold leaked into his boots and soaked his foot-paws. He kicked his feet, trying to get the horrid water out of his boots.

(Hope you both don't mind a latecomer. Sorry for the lengthy post, just getting the backstory out of the way.)

*Dertwill the brown stoat wasn’t having a good couple of days to say the least. The stoat was a full head shorter than the average stoat in the port town. Mercilessly mocked by his brothers and sisters, the young stoat figured it was about time to leave home and run away to sea, much like his father before him, who had never returned from a voyage years ago.

After spying the Midnight Fury preparing to hoist anchor, Dertwill decided it was time to make his move. Rummaging through his father’s old clothes and equipment, he dressed himself in a tan kilt with belt, matching vest with an odd stain here and there, a small dirk, and a headband that covered his left eye like a patch. Finally, he stole his father’s old concertina to keep him company. Dertwill had played it on occasion when alone, and while one of the keys didn’t quite work, it served its purpose.

Stowing away in a crate, Dertwill managed to fit himself in without much suspicion. Upon reaching the hold, the stoat waited until he thought the coast was clear. However, just as he was about to lift the lid, a few of the crew members dropped another crate on top of him, slamming into the back of his head and knocking him out cold for the rest of the day.

Over the next few days, Dertwill tried in vain to budge the lid above him, but to no avail. At first, the stoat remained optimistic, and tried being quiet when he thought he heard activity around him, but all of his attempts to escape were fruitless. Finally, out of desperation from hunger and dehydration, Dertwill exerted the last of his strength to push the lid up high enough to cause the crate above him to crash down into the disgusting bilge water with a splash.

Lifting his head up, Dertwill stared in surprise at two ferrets by the stairs, both taken aback by the sudden appearance of the additional stowaway. The younger silver-haired ferret seemed to be around his age, but the older one had an air of authority about him. To add to the cacophony of his appearance as he stood, part of his concertina unhooked from his belt, making an airy whine as the bellows expanded. So much for slipping in unnoticed among the crew. *

“Err, uh, ‘ello,” whimpered the embarrassed stoat, an innocent smile plastered on his face.

Whitepaw was busy taking Hitchclaw into his custody, when he heard a large splash. He looked over to where the sound came from, to see another stowaway, this time it was a stoat. He stared at the stoat, dumbfounded, shocked, and confused, as if he was thinking "Oh come on, you got to be kidding me." He turned back to the stairs and yelled up.

"Dropwirt! Hookbod! Skullug! Git yer sorry tails doon ta da 'old."

He pointed his sword at the stowaways.

"Yer in big trouble, yew rascals."

He said, menacingly.

"Ah want yer back ta da walls. Git goin' yew two. Move!"

He said, jabbing his jagged ugly rapier at them to make sure they backed up to the walls.
